A Husband's Tribute.
A glowing tribute to the many virtues oi his wife is expressed in the will of Mr Herbert Harris, ol 10u, Coventry road, Birmingham, jugiueer and commission agent, who lied on July 26 last, leaving estate jf tho groas value of £s<lßl. He bequeathed his household and personal oltccts and considerable stores 'to my virtuous, faithful, and deary beloved wife," and in making an idditional bequest of £2000 to her, jo said that this was "Not as a rex>mpense of her infinite merit to-v-ards me, or for the incomparable ove, zeal, and hearty affection ever ill owed unto me, or for those so rare uid many virtues of charity, mod?sty, fidelity, wisdom, patience, and i m ind replete with all piety and goodness, which deserveth to be ionoured, loved, and esteemed above ill the transitory wealth and treamre of this world, and therefore by to price of earthly riches can oy mo )c valued, recompensed, or requit-al--to her, therefore, my most virmous. faithful, and entirely-loved rife, not, as ] say, as . recompense »ut a-s a true token and testimony of ny unspeakable love, affection, es/imatiori, and reverence, long since ixed and settled in my heart and ;mil towards 1 "
