SKIN AND HIDE REPORT. Dalgety and Company report: We held our fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides and tallow at Palmerston North on 23rd February, when we offered a catalogue consisting mostly of oddments to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was keen and satisfactory prioes wore obtained for all lines submitted. We quote:— WOOL.—Cross-bred, Bid, 7Jd; dead, 6Jd, 7jd; £black, 6J; lambs, sjd, 7£d; washed pieces, 4d, ?d; locks, 3s, 3Jd; crutohings, 4Jd. SKINS.—SoId well at late rates. Cross-bred fine, 7£d; cross-bred medium, 6d, 7d; half-wools, sfd, 6d; dead, 4sd; broken and damaged, Sfd ssd ; lambs, sd; pelts, 3}d, 3Jd; cross-Tired damp, 2s Id, 6s Bd. HTDES.—Were in good demand. Ox medium, 7|d, 7Jd: ox out, 6|d; cow good, 7d: cow cnt and slippy, s}d, 6Jd: calf medium, Bfd, 10|d; cnlf out and slippy, sf, BJd. HORNS.—Is 9d per dozen.
