The market in Canadian apples is pretty v/ell over the season, arrivals during the past week about 36,000 barrel?, and these have met with a good enquiry; prices from 18s to 24s for best No. l's, according to quality and yarieyt. THE LIVERPOOL MARKET. Monday being New Year's day, there was no sales of, apples in this market. Friday: Apples were in fair supply about 18,000 barrels being offered. The Canadian fruit sliowed considerable improvement in quality and condition, and russets made 13s to 21s 6d; Baldwins, 12s to 17s 3d; Ben Davis, 13s to 17s 6a pet- barrel. GREENINGS.—Those are still coming forward exceedingly poor in quality and appearance, and the best pric-ofi realised were 6s 6d to 9s 6d per barrel. Oalifornian Newtons were slow of sale, and only a small part of the 4,000 boxes catalogued found buyers at 7s to 10s 6d per box, according to quality and grade.
