Notices have been posted in all mills in north and north-east Lancashire that they will close to-night. The Spinners' Federation (has decided to curtail production by three days weekly. The Daiiy News questions the wisdom of the Unions in calling on capitalists to practically enforce discipline instead of trusting to esprit de corps. Other Liberal newspapers discourage the Unions' extreme action.
