The Times says the appearance !of Mr Lloyd-George and Sir E. Grey in full war paint at the suffragist camp slionld force Mr Asquith (tlie Premier) to tnko off his coat to combat a policy which he regards as very disastrous. There is mnch newspaper and club criticism at the Premier's peculiar position. Tt is understood! that tho Rt. Hons. Lewis Harcourt, R. MeKenna (Homo Secretary), 0. E. Hobhousc. H. S. Samuel. Lord Loreburn, Lord Crewe and the Rt. Hon. W. S. Churchill are against woman suffrage, while Lord Haldnne (Minister of "War), the Rt. Hons. .T. Bnrns, A. Birrell, Sydney Buxton, Runeiman, Lord Morley and Sir J. A. Simon favour tho vote for women.
