Fire at Napier

WORKING MEN'S CLUB BADLY DAMAGED. [PER PRKBF, AgSOGI.'iTTONj NAPIER, December 14. A fire broke out in the upper bar of the Napier "Working Men's Club this afternoon. The stock in the bar and the fittings and furniture in tihe large room adjoining were destroyed, and the coiling and walls badly damaged. Tlie lower rooms were deluged with water. The (damage is estimated at £400, and is covered by an insurance with the New Zealand Co. The cause fof the fire is unknown.
