Abrauun and Williams, Ltd., re[port:—We held our usual monthly sale on Friday, Bth December, and offered a good catalogue to a large attendance oi buyers. Coincident with the rise in wool both in London and the last sale in Wellington we experienced a rise from £d to Id per lb here. Our catalogue comprised 72 bales and 80 .sacks of wool chiefly medium crossbred, and competition was very keen. The bidding for the skins and hides was also decidedly good. We established a record for calf skins, a line making up to ll£d per lb. We quote :—
