Urgent enquiries have been made lately as to when the box plan for "Bhe Open Gate" and "WaiVcon in Sand" is to open. In an advertisement elsewhere in this issue The Levin Dramatic Society notify t&o public that the plan of scats 'will open at Ken Aitken's bookshop in Oxford street on Monday next and intending patrons are advised to Tiook early, thus seeming a good seat and avoiding disappointme it. The prices are as follows: Front seats (reserved), 2s 6d; stalls, 2s and pit Is. The night of production is fixed for the 13th of December at the Town Hall. < Two political meetings are advertised for to-morrow evening in Levin, and one for to-night. Mr Byron Brown will be at Weraroa this evening, in the Werartm Hall. Mr !R. R. Martin, official organiser cf the Reform Party, will speak in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, when he will deal with various recent political utterances. Mr J. Robertson, the Labour candidate for Ofcalci, will take the stage in the Century Hall on the same evening, and will dissect %he apolitical platform of the Farmers' Union.
