Hungarian Wedding Feast.
The Hungarian peasant is famous for his healthy appetite. At a recent village wedding feast, wliicli lasted four days, there were 1/100 guests, and they consumed an ox, roasted whole, eight calves, sixlambs, 650 geese. 425 turkeys, 1,200 ohickens, sixty pigeons, 3,400 loaves, 400 tins of huscuits two hundredweight of rice, 1,320 gallons of wine and 100 barrels of beer. Five bands played during the entertainments.
