Iti banco the Court of Appeal quashed tihe conviction of one of the Lithgcw strikers, who was fined for absenting himself from work without reaso.na.ble cause. Mr .Justice Prinn, delivering judgment, said that men absented themselves from work, as they honestly believed the contract botwern themselves and fc':eir employers was broken. Therefore they were .jellied in staying away firm work.
Tlrs decision may affect o'h-r cases.
