The Premier said that it was not proposed to carry a line of railway to the, Mental Hospital at Tokanui. The voto was passed. After a very lengthy discussion, the Minister stated that it was i>roto commence the erection of the new lighthouse at North Cape. At 4.15, with twelve members in the House, the vote for the Minister of Mines was taken, and after considerable discussion it was passed unaltered.

The remainder of the Estimates was then passed and the House rose at -I.n-0.
