The police subscriuently took the .matter in. hand, ami the mystery has now been solved by finding Bogan's body in tho Manawatu river, in the Gorge, about a. mile from Aslihurst Tho bridge hank at the point where the body was found was very steep, and the river is about 30 feet deep. An inquest will be held to-day.
