SHELL PICTURES AT SHANNON,
The Shell Picture Company ..cu" 7 * ! the promised .cmterfcaiinnenC" in the Druids' Hall," Shannon, last Tuesday evening, and in spite of the strong opposition of a circus in the vicinity, the company was greeted by a good audience, and, judging .by the frequent rounds of applause whieh followed earh picture, the entertainment was thoioughly appreciated! by all present. The programme for this week's visit is an excellent one, and is headed by the "Star" film, "Mumm's Ghost." This pourtr&ys aij episode of the American Civil War. The other films are all good subjects, and new to Shannon. A list of them appears in an advertisement in today's Chronicle. This company has a most up-to-date plant, and. the entertainment is equal to anything shown in the four centres. It is the intention of the management to visit Shannon every Tuesday, and if last Tuesday's entertainment was an average sample of what the company is going to give in Shannon, bumper houses should reward its enterprise.
