Summonses have been granted against Johnson and AYelLs for contemplating a breach of the peace, and against the. three promoters for abetting. The summonses are returnable to-morrow. LORD LONSDALE'S ASTONISHMENT. (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) LONDON. September 27. The prize fight sinxnvonses have been adjourned till Friday. Lord Lonsdale, a great supporter of sport -and the owner of a largo racing stud, in a letter to the Press, says that he is unable to understand Mr Churchill's attitude, as in the Slavin-McAuliffe case the judge decided in the men's favour.
