Jaca<mar, in his first effort of the season, did a mile and a Quarter in 2.14|-, the final half-mile in 54sec. Lady Medallist succeeded not only in scoring the fastest time, but in heating all the season's mile records, with Wood -up. Assisted 'by Debutante, she ran tiiie first half-mile in 50|sec, and did tlhe balance alone, the whole journey taking 1.43. Broadsword took 1.44, and Malt King similar time, for the last mile of one and a quarter miles. Full Sail ran a mile in 1.45. Vice-Admiral beat Crown Grant over a mile and a quarter iii 2.1(5. Los Angelos Shaped in convincing style over the same distance, in "2.14 i the last six furlongs occupying 1.20.}. Trafalgar, with Lady Lucy to assist him, did a mile and a quarter i,n 2.20, Chaste six furlongs in 1.19, and Mfdnight Sun a mile in 1.47-J.
