CONTROL OF RAGING
COMMISSION TO SIT AGAIN. The Racing Commission, of which Sir George Clifford was chairman, will sit again to rcconsider its .allocation of racing permits as provided by the Commission in its original report and endorsed and acted upon by the Racing Conference for this racing season. This is the outcome •of a suggestion made in the House of Representatives la.st week when Mr Jennings's Bill for the rehabilitation of certain country racing clubs (wiped out as a. result of folic commission's findings) was under consideration in committee.
