We have no improvement to report ir potatoes. Onoins are firm for good quality. Fresh eggs are in better enquiry, with slight advance for some linos. Vegetables are now coming, in more froly. Green peas are now reaching us from Nelson, and have sold during the week at from 2' 6d to 4s lid per peck, the lowei prices being for lines porly filled. Pumpkins and marrows are in exceptional demand at very high values Rot vegetables are slow of sale. Lettuce is in over supply. Apple?, are in great demand. "Wheat is firmer with short supplies, while oats hove advanced to very high values, and arc also hard to obtain. Chaff is firmer, and is heing well held. Potatoes, prime, £4 10s per ton. Up-to-date seed potatoes, speciallv selected Canterbury grown, £5-10 to £6 per ton.According to quanttty. Onions, Australian brown Spanish, £6 10s to £7 per ton. Artichokes, Is 9dto 2s 6d per bag.
