Australian onions are somewhat firmer, but reliable reports point to ample supplies for the next few months. Vegetables continue to realise very high .prices, with very keen corn pot ition for such as cabbage and cauliflower. TCggs have boon in verv large supply during the week, and tho quantity available has been in excess of th erequirements for ordinary consumption, while price was J oo Well for bakers and others to preserve. They have now dropped to lOcl and lid. and greater activity among buyers may be looked Tor. Wheat and oats are advancing as also are most otber grains. Hay is in good demand where quality is right.
