The railway table, lika the polony, contain* many good things, bat the public prefer to hara the one par-i ticular food (whether mental or alimentary) desired on & given occasion, not a boteh potch of figures concerning the branch line of Toko, the side track at Waggonrillo, or tho cross line to Nevermarch. The particular figures likely to be of benefit to d.vollers between Paekakariki and Palmerston North are what readers of the Horcwhenua Chronicle need most, and for our readeiß , convenience those figure* are now appended :~

As previously mentioned, there are several wayside stations at which one or more of the above trains will stop whenever passengers desire to be set down or taken up. Local residents may ascertain which arc the trains which cater for their towns, and may thon work out, from tho above figures, the time which the train will take to travel from tho station immediately p-ecoding.
