The nowspaper John Bull has published a confession by ono Vernon, uiho alleges that ho was acquitted on a charge of like- murder of a man named Moil ab Doomli station, Queensland. He requested the editor not to publish it for a week. The same day Vernon committed suicide, by shooting himself at Victoria station.
