N.Z. CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING CO., WEEKLY~REPbdT. (Special to " Ihe HorowH»n«ft Chronicle.") For the convenience of tfi« {arming community, " Tha Chronicle " is reprinting from day to day, daring the autumn season, the quotations of prices currant as iwied by. the Farmers' Distributing Ckm pany WELLINGTON, July 29, 1911. The potato market shows 110 improvement. and the supply still orcoods the demand. Wo think, howover, that a further fall in values is improbable. Reports from Australia indicate a rising market in onions, and a steady increase may now 'be looked for from now on. Vegotblos arc 111 excellent demand, and good linos of cabbage and cauliflower continue to realise liigrh prices. Tasmanian apples are due this week in fair oiiantitv, so that an easier market for local lines is probable. Eggs are slight! smsier, preserved lines beinig hard to nit it . The supply of porkers has fallen off rapidly and we have to-day realised 5d per lb for ha con era.
