CORRESPONDENCE
[Our correspondents' opinions are their own; the responsibility of editorial ones makes sufficient ballast for the editor's shoulders.] SHANNON DAIRY COMPANY. To the Editor. Sir,-I road with interest your report that Levin Dairy Company was installing skim milk pasteurising plants, at a cost of from £70 to £80 each. [fear, hear from Progress. T wonder whether this excellent lead will be followed by our dairy company. What is good for the Levin gec.se should do for the Shannon gander. At all events, "it will do me!" as our Shannon oddity is in the habit of saying.— Yours truly, ■V SHANNON FARMER. July 21, 1911. THE LEVfN"iuCHRE PARTY. To the Editor. Sir, —Allow me a small space in vour vlauable columns to contradict the statement as to the winner of the ladies' prize at the last party. It said Mrs Phil Tuohy won: she did not: it was a tie between hvr and Miss Tuohy, and Mrs Tuohy wouldn't plav off.—Yours truly. FAIR PLAY. Levin. July 21. [Portions'of this letter have been excised.--Editor Chronicle!.
