Mr Hoskins bias asked Mr Beeby (Minister of Labour) to act as 'mediator in the Lithgow strike, and Mr Beeby, who has accepted the position, suggests that all men should be reinstated on the conditions existing at the time of suspension of work, pending -arbitration in the claim for increased pay, the men to start on Monday morning.
