Meissrs Abraham and Williams report : At Waak-aiiiae we had a full yard in g of sheep, and a smiall of cattb made up prinoi'pally of Mi , Monk's dairy herd. The liierd! was rather rough, but anything calving next month sold well. Sheep were dull of sale, but we were successful in placing most of the lines offered! after the sale. We quote :— (Sheep.—Empty ewes, 10s 2d,; fat wethers, 16s to lGs 6d ; store wethiers, 8s 10d, 9s, lls 6d ; store ewes, 5s 7d to 7s 6d; aged rams, Bs. Cattle.—Dairy coiws to oalve July and August, £6 10s to-£9; backward calvers, £3 .to £6; fat cows, £6 12s; Jersey bull, £4 ss.
