POPULARISING LEVIN DOMAIN

To the Editor. Sir, —I was pleased indeed to read in your last issue that the Levin Domain Board was having the domain drained and improved and planted with ornamental trees. I am sure the public of this town have an excellent resort in this domain, and I am sure, too, that the public doesn't know as much about the domain as it ought to do. I want to suggest that in the approaching summer the Board and Borough council should confer together with the idea of getting some little public gathering held in the place some Wednesday afternon. If the Mayor gave a public address and Major Burlinson permitted his lads to play brass band music, while the public walked about amongst the trees, a personal interest in the domain would be awakened. —Yours truly, A LOVER OF PARKS.
