The concert given by the Levin Presbyterian Church at TOoputaroa was a prono'iineed success, and' the sohoolbouse was crwoded 1 . A varied programme of vocal and instrumental items was gone through, and encores were demanded in practirallv every instance. Tho Rev. A. C. Randerson, who presided, took the Opportunity at the close of the concert of thanking the residents of tho district for being present in such large numbers.
Dairying is moving ahead up the Main Trunk. A factory liais been established,-at Raurimu and a imovemerut is afoot to erect another at Taumarrni-ui. .
