While a crowd of pilgrims were standing at the graves of famous Rabbis watching a 'bonfire upon a flat roof of a large buildling, the roof collapsed precipitating 200 pilgrims upon the rest of the spectators. llorribe scenes followed, ten persons being killed and thirty dangerously injured.
