& - N.Z. FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING CO., WEEKLY REPOiiT, (Speoi&l to " The Horowhaiinft Chroiuol®.") For the oonfenience of tE« farming community, "The Chronicle" ia reprinting from day to day, daring the antnmn season, the qnotations of prices currant aa isaiad by the Farmere' Distributing tympany - WELLINGTON, May 25. - Potatoes are unchanged from last week, with lighter stocks being -held here, there having been good sales made during the Inst few days. Prices may probably advance shortly, as during the recent over-supply farmers decided in many cases to "pit" their crops, and will doubtless hold same for some time yet.. We have been able to make excellent arrangements for the* supply of choice picked linos of up-to-date seeds, whih are coming to hand weekly in splendid condition. Onions are unchanged. Vegetables, oartieularly cabbage, are in good demand, excepting lettuce, which lias fallen considerably, and swedes, which are in rather full supply. Fruit, apples and pears meet excellent market. Fresh eggs arc unchanged, while preserved lines "re very hard to quit. Porkers are in first-class demand, and we could do with much larger supplies. We may say that all porkers are no.v inspected in our market by a Co - ernmont inspector, and deceased ones paid for at the rate of *d fir pound.
