A representative of Carrington's ,jewellery establishment, in Regent street, testified that Mrs Cameron obtained a pearl necklace on approval «nd asked for assistance in negotiating its insurance. (Chronicle Note: Tire case arose from the alleged snatching of a £(jooo pearl necklace from the neck of a lady who was looking in an Edinburgh shop window and led to Lieut. Aylmer Cameron and his wife being taken before the sheriff at Edinburgh on a charge of attempting to defraud an insurance company.)
