The liank of New Zealand ilias received the following cabio advices, with reference to market conditions at the close of tlic last series of wool .sales:— The market has closed with good demand for all coaisn oross-'bred. Hie market i.s strong for coarse cross-breds. Prices are lower panto o per cent. The market us weak for fine crossbred; prices are unchanged. The market is weak for lnedimn crossbred; prices are lower par too per cent. Total quantity held over 39,000 bales, of which 20,000 bales are Xeu - Zealand. Onrreiit .prices for North. Island fnamers' lots in- average .condition:—; Coarse crossbred, 3(j's-to 4.o's quality, !)d to d\d perJ'b; medium. 44's to 40's quality, 10d to lOf'd per lb; fine, OO's quality, l.Ud' to 12Jd per lb.
