From the Registrar of Friendly Societies (Mr Robert JO. Haves) we are in receipt of a copy of The Friendly Societies' Act, 1909, and tho regulations thereunder, together with an introduction and complete index. The introductory matter is peculiarly interesting, and we intend to publish some extracts therefrom. Mrs Higgins, of Weraroa, lias .secured both booths for the Otaki Racing Club's Winter Meeting. Tho privileges were submitted to auction by Messrs Hitohings, Hankins and Co.
