Apples and pears are in keen demand at high prices, and we strongly recommend consignments. Fresh eggs are dull of sale, and preserved lips have declined 2d per dozen during the week, and are slow of sale, even •at rtduced rates. Grain of ( nil kinds continues to rise in prbe, while pollard is particularly scarce, the value in Australia now being fash to porimt of further importations from there.
