PASS AWAY. TPER FIESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRTSTCHTIRCH This Day. Mr Alfred Cox, who represented Henthcote in Parliament from 1863 to 18G5, and Tiniarn from 186G to 1868, is deal at the ago. of 68. He had land in South Canteinbuny and Waikato until twenty-five years ago, when he retired. He was editor of "Men of Mark in New Zealand." Another early settler, Mrs William Pratt, died vosterdav, aged 83. She came to' Nelson'in 1843, and Canterbury in 1851.
