A HAWKE'S BAY SALE. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ' NAPIER, May 23. Mr Thomas Tanner's well-known " EmLsleigh " estate, containing 2370 acres, situated at Havelook Norih, and close to Hastings, has been sold to a southern client at the vendor's price. This property is one of the hast stud farms in. the dominion, and contains some of the richest land! in New Zealand. WATKAWAE STOCK SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report :—At Waikanae on Tuesday we had small yardings of both sheep aaid cattle, which sold at the following prices :• -Fat and forward wethers, 14s 9d;. store cows, £2 7s 6d to £2 14s; dairy cows, £3 15s tto £5; empty hmfcrs, £2 10s; weaners, 20s to 375; a quantity of saddlery and rugs sold at good prices.
