West's Entertainers.
West's Entertainers are advertised to appear in the Levin Town Hall next Thursday night, when the residents of the district are promised an entertainment distantly removed from the ordinary. Prof. Silvester, who appeared here a, few years ago, is a member of the company. His clever conjuring and illusions may still remain impressed on a great many who witnessed his performance on that occasion. Among the attractions ihe presents is a clever hpynotic performance in which a hypnotised lady is suspended in mid-air without' any apparent support whatever. During this exhibition a series of facißating tableaux are shown. The Professor will also give an. exhibition of ventriloquism, includiing voice-throw-ing. The company also possesses a clever comedian in the pea-son of AJf. Williams, whose comic songs, comedies, .and sketches have found favor everywhere. He amuses without resorting to vulgarity. The marvellous Silbinis are spoken of as being "a host in themselves." Miss Silbini, whilst blindfolded: on. the stage, describes all manner of articles which members of the audience have concealed in their pockets; gives particulars regarding lost articles, and describes them accurately. Mr J. Gribble, the ballad' singer for the Company, has a rich baritone voice. Other members of the Company are equally neritoriows ■in their different branches. The prices of admission are 2s and Is. A few reserved seats at 3s. Children half price to all parte.
