Potatoes are still fir mfor first-class lines. Considerable prejudice exists here against any butjair-sized tubers. Onions are firm. Vegetables are all in good demand, there being an especially good enquiry for lettuce and cauliflower of good quaity. Apples, pears and quinces, are being eagerly sought after, and we, recomment consignments. Fresh eggs have again advanced, and offerings are small. Consignments of either fresh or preserved will meet with a ready sale. Poultry is in poor demand. Oats are firm, with smal offorings Pollaid saa ltfe per .ton in Australia.
