The Old Potteries Railway, from Shrewsbury to Llanminach, which cost £2,000,000, and which has been derelict for 30 years, was recently purchased for £32,000 and re-opened. Wanganui's Y.M.C.A. rPBR PREBR ASSOCIATION.} WANGANUI, April 14. William Reid, an old resident of Wangatnui, has shown in a practical manner his interest in the establishment of a Y.M.C.A. in Wanganui, having sent a cheque for £1800 towards the purchase of <a site. The salary of the secretary has already been guaranteed for three years. Beginning on May 10th, the committee will make a ten days' appeal for £0000.
