Fielding, Minister for Finance, declares that British preference will remain unchanged for the present. Opinion in Government circles inclines to the 'belief that tho Reciprocity Bill will he ratified by the end of April. PROSPECTS IMPROVING. WASHINGTON.. April 14. A belief prevails in political circles that prospects of carrying the reciprocity proposals are improving so far a*> the Senate is concerned.
