To the Editor. Sir, —I was glad to read Mr Williams' letter in yesterday's Chronicle. I fancy, that his critics will admit he has made out a very good
ca.se. and that, under the circumstances., they would liave adopted «a precisely similar policy to that which lie lias done. There is not a mnji who would have done the work "Charlie" did for the same amount. The thing to do now is to keep the association alive and prospect the ranges in the spring.—Yours etc., SATISFIED.
