The excellent manner in which the story of Uncle Tom's Cabin has been told on the stage .since the days when Mrs IJ. Beech or Stowe wrote her immortal story has induced the leading firm of cinematograph operators in the world. Messrs Pathos Freros, to reproduce the story as depicted J>y the most- talented artists of the day. Therefore, the treat that is in store for Levin audiences to-night at the Century Hall, will bo one that is shared by audiences all the world over, and thnt has creatod a deeper and more lasting impression on tno minds of the spectators than anything that has heretofore been produced on canvas. Mr Joseph MacMahon has received advice from his brother in Australia that the production of Uncle Tom's Cabin in flic chief centres of the (..'•ommoiuvealth has been a triumph in every respect. To make the production correct in every detail Mr MacMahon has arranged for a grand chorus party, who are now actively rehearsing several of those Mveet negro plantation choruses and coon songs that were the sole comfort of the slaves before their emancipation, and these will be suns in harmony with the scenes presented. Tn addition fo the chief item an altogether new and charming: sot of moving picture subjects wijl constitute the first half of the programme. Popular prices of admission lire announced.
