ODDFELLOWS H(ALL).

i To the Editor. J ■ Sir, I was pleased on opening the Chronicle yesterday to see that Mr Archibald had writ-ten you a Jotter and signed it. Ido not think that .Mr Archibald is so annoyed over the question of tho ticket as ho would appear to be. It is just possible he is anxious to stop into the open and make a fight at the coming Borough Council election. The loss of tho traveller's ticket provided him with the opportunity of coining into the limelight. It may interest your readers to know that I am endeavouring to hire a public hall for a meeting, of citizens, and that I intend to ask the four candidates who are definitely announced already to address the burgesses therein. I will attempt to hire the most suitable hall in the tow/i for them:-the Odfellows' Hall.—Yours etc., ANOTHER ODDFELLOW. Cambridge street, Levin. .
