OUR ADDINGTON STOCK REPORT. [PER PRESS ABSOCI4TIO*?.] CIIH.ISTCHURCH, Feb. 22, At Addington there were large entries of all classes of sheep and a .small yarding of cattle. The attojuknco was also Humorous. Fat cattle showed a .sharp rise. Store sheep, especially lambs, were much easier and fat sheep were not. so firm. Fat pigs showed a. little improvement, and store pigs were 1 not in such good demand. Store cattle were dull of sale, but dairy cows wore keenly competed for. There was another heavy yarding of store sheop, chiefly lambs,' but there was a larger proportion of wethers than last week. The total entry excelled that of any previous sale this season. Most' of the lambs were of moderate quality and some were inferior. Really good rape lambs were in limited number. Wethers wei'e also ehiefly medium sorts, and ewes were mixed, both as to age and quality. The heavy supply and continued dry weather had the effect of reducing prices all round, especially for lambs, which showed a decline of Is per head. For forward wethers there was little change, and good ewes, botih young and sound mouthed, generally sold very well. One specially good line of two-tooth ewes made 17s Id, others 10s.
