-e PALMERSTON NORTH STOCK SALE. i _ Abraham and Williafs, Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North on rhursday, the 16th inst.. we offered a yarding of 3200 sheep! in spito oi the continued dry spell good enquiry existed for all classes, and wo sold every pen at satisfactory prices. A good entry of cattle also met with fair competition, and a good clearance was effected. Quotations:— Sheep.—A nice line of 750 2-tooth eu es made from 14s to 14s 4d; other lots. 12s 7d to 12s 10d; a straight hue of 1000 4 and 5-year stationbred owes made 9s sd; 2-tooth weth?i S> h Wto 12s 4d 5 li % ht fat «w«»» lls 3d; forward ewes, 9s; fat ambs, 9s 5d to lls 3d; forward lambs, 7s 2d to 8s; good store lambs, 5s 10tl to 6s Id; small lambs, 3s Pd to 3s lid.
