For the convenience of the farming community, "The Chronicle" is reprinting from day to day, daring the autumn season, the qnotetione of prices current as iwied by the Farmers' Distributing OemPany WELLINGTON, February 3. Potatoes have and the supply has been short during the last few days. We .advise eliente to take advantage of the favourable position of the market, and send in supplies at once. We do not ttaik that present rates will last longer than a few days. Onions are now ■ offering from south, and the price •is ruled by the nominal quotaions from Ausralia. A good harvest there will apparently be elsewhere, and good prices have been obtained throughout the week. Apricots are now in short supply. We have keen enquiries for good dessert peare and apples. Peaches are in fair demand only. Tomatoes are in large supply, with weake/iiing tenedency. Porkers are in poor demand. Eggs are wanted. Poultry shows no improvement.
