At the itrial of Erhnondson in conneotion witji the Tantanoola sheepstpaling, a witness deposed thalt he was induced to join the accused by ;i statement that he oould make four or five pounds daily under the pretext of trapping rabbits. Edmondson said Hjhat the witness shot sheep belonging to flocks in the vicinity. _ Witness skinned them, and the skins were consigned to Ade. laide. At olthor times they were put up in temporary yards. They ran in and killed batches of sheep. This had been going on since August last.
