lOUII ADDINGTON STOCK REPORT. : '> LPBR riIEBS ASSOCIATION ; OHRISTCHDRCH, Jan. 18. At the Addiugton live stock market thcro were good entries of stock, and only a, fair atlendanco. Fat cattle were a shade easier. Store sheep sold at about last week's rates, forward la tubs being slightly firmer. Fat lambs maintained last week's prices, but owes declined in price towards tihe ond. There was no change in the prices of fat pigs, and stores were dull of .sale. The yarding of si ore shoc-p was again a largo one, lambs forming a large proportion. There was a . good demand for all classes ami forward lambs wero firmer. Forward, lam Its sold up to 10s 10d, medium 5s fid to Ilk and small 2s 10d to .Ts Id. Forward wethers sold at 12s 6d. two-tooths 8s 8d to 10s 10d. siv and eight-tooth owes (good) li's 'M, in low condition 11s 3d, two-tooth ewes 15s -Id to 18s 4d, and aged ewes ."s to 7s 7d. The yarding of fat lambs totalled 4475, the quality not being so good on the -whole as last week. There were, however, some ' very prime _luk\s, and a few heavy lots met with extra keen competition ;ind lii-ir.ifrii more than the over-a'l prices given for ordinary freezers. All freozing lines met with a good .<"il'\ and '.jood quality lines were a .s!-.:ide firmer. Tliere wore 3013 lambs taken for export at 15s Hd fn liSs for best, and ' Us 4(1 to 15s for H^!for. .If."
