The Markets in Levin.

HITOHINGB, HANKINS A*D CO., LTD. Pigs and Poultry.—The market on Friday, 11th inst., did not show any advance for porkers, but as we predicted in our last report; store pigs were in good demand at advanced prices. As* soon as the bacon factories commence operations, there is certain to be a good demand for baconers, which are very scarce at the present time. This will not have any effect on the t>ork market as far as we can ascertain. There should, however, be a wood • market for porkers throughout the sensoii, as owing tr> the rearing of a large number of dairy calves this season, the supply of pork is very much smaller than was the case last vear.
