For Unitet States of America, It for each ob. or fraction thereof (to include Pago Pago and Hawaiian Islands, Porto Rico and Alaska). For United Kingdom, British Possessions and other places enumerated in schedule at Post Office Id for each ox or fraction thereof; for places not named, 2Jd for each or., and lid for eaoh succeeding 01. NEWBPAPERB. Within the Dominion, id for each newspaper. To Australia, South Sea Islands, Canada, etc, each newspaper Id; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes Id for first Bobs, and id each additional 2oes. To other countries, for the first 4ozs Id, each additional 2oz id. The weight of newspapers for transmission to Australia and British New Guinea at the Id rate is restricted to 20oeb. for each copy; for each lOous or fraction thereof additional id. MAGAZINES. Magazines (not registered), all places, Id each 2ozs. Magaiines (registered), within the Dominion, Id for eaoh 16obs or fraotion thereof : Australia (except Queensland and West Australia), under Sobs, Jd; 2ozb to Bozs, Id; each additional 4ozs, id; Queensland, West Australia, and other places, id each 2ons. POSTAL NOTES. One shilling, Is 6d, 2s, 2s Bd, id; 3s and ss, Id; 10s up to 80s, 2d. COMMERCIAL PAPERB. Town (for accounts, etc., only), id if not exceeding ioz, or Id for first 4ozs, and id for eaoh succeeding 2ozb. Inland, Id for first 4 ozs and id for eaoh succeeding 2 ozs. All other places 2}d for first lOozs, and id for each succeeding 2ozs. REPLY COUPONS. As a means of enabling the sender of a letter addressed to n place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issue? reply coupons on payment of a fee of 3d. These coupons may be exchanged for a postage stamp of the value of 2id in any country which adopts the scheme. BOOKS AND PRINTED PAPERS. All places, id for each 2ozs. MONEY ORDERS. Up to £5, 3d; above '£5 to £10, 6d; above £10 to £15, 9d; above £15 to £20, Is; above £20 to £25, Is 3d; above £25 to £30, Is 6d; above £30 to £35, Is 9d; above £35 to £40, 2s. British Postal Orders for fixed sums from 6d up to 20s may be procured at the principal Money Older Oflßces in New Zealand. REGISTRATION. Universal fee of 2d to all place* The sender of a registered article may obtain acknowledgment of its due receipt on payment in advance if 2id. PATTERNS AND SAMPLES. Inland, not exceeding 2ozs, id, over sozs, same as for other places. All other'places, not exceeding Bozs Id, every additional 2ozs id.
