DUN ED IN, September 23. Burnside stock market:--Fat cattle: 147 yarded, consisting of fair quality. Prices opened firmer than last week's .rates, but, towards the close, competition was easier and prices declined considerably, especially for heifer beef. Best bullocks £I*o 10s to £11 10s; extra, to £10; extra medium, £9 to £9 10s; inferior, £7 10s bo £ 810s; best cows, heifers, £8 10s to £9 10s;_extra, to £11 Is; medium, £7 to £7 i«s; inferior. £0 0s to £0 10s. Fat sheep: There was only a small yarding ot 10(58, and, as competition was keen, prices were much firmer than those riding last week. Good wethers showed an advance of Is (id to 2s per head, and ewes, which, were scarce, advanced 2s to 2s Otl; best wethers, 22s to 20s; extra, to 28s 3d; good, 18s to 21s; medium.. 10s (id to 17s; best ewes, 18s to 20s 3d; extra, to 2.">s 3d; medium, 13s to 10s: light, 10s to 13s.
