For Unitet States of America, It for each oz. or fraction thereof (to include Pago Pago and Hawaiian Islands, Porto Rico and Alaska). For United Kingdom, British Possessions and other places enumerated in schedule at Post Office Id for each oz or fraction thereof ; for places not named, 2}d for each oz., and IJd for each succeeding oz. NEWSPAPERS. Within tho Dominion, $d for each newspaper. To Australia, South Sea Islands, Canada, etc., each newspaper Id; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes Id for first Bozs, and \d each additional 2ozs. To other countries, for the first 4ozs Id, each additional 2oz Jd. The weight o'f newspapers for transmission to Australia and British New Guinea at the Id rate is restricted to 20ozs. for each copy; for each 100/,s or fraction thereof additional }d. MAGAZINES.

Magazines (registerefl), within the Dominion, M for encli ifiozs or traction thereof: Australia (except Queensland and Wo>t Australia), under 2ozs, Jd ; 2ozs to Bozs, lei; each additional 4ozs, Id; Qiieriioland, West Australia, and other places, id each "oes. POSTAL NOTES. One shilling, Is I'd, 2s, 2s 6d, Jd ; 3s and ss, Id ; 10s up to 20s, 2d. COMMERCIAL PAPERS. Town (for accounts, etc., only), id if not exceeding \oz, or Id for first 4ozs, and id for each succeeding 2ozs. Irdand, Id for first 4 ozs and Jd for each succeeding 2 o«s. All other p'scos 2id for first lOozs, and Jtl for each succeeding 2ozs. REPLY COUPONS. As a means of enabling the sender of a letter addressed to a place abroad to prepay the jwstage on a reply, the Department issues reply coupons on payment of a fee of 3d. These coupons may be exchanged for a postage stamp of the value of 2Jd in any country which adopts the scheme. BOOKS AND PRINTED PAPERS. All places,, id for each 2ozs. MONEY ORDERS. Up to Co, 3d; above £5 to £10, 6d; above £10 to £15, fld; above Cl sto £2(1, Is: above £20 to £25, Is 3d; above £25 to :J3O, Is 6d; above £30 to £35, Is 9d; above £35 to £10, 2s. British Postal Orders for fixed sums from Gd up to 20s may bo procured at the principal Money Order Offices in New Zealand. REGISTRATION. Universal fee of 2d to all plaoo* The sender of a registered article may obtain acknowledgment of its due receipt on payment in advance •>f 2Jd. PATTERNS AND SAMPLES. Inland, not exceeding 2ozs, id, over sozs, same as for other places. All other places, not exceeding Bozs Id, every additional 2ozs id.
